Each year we are encountering more and more people wanting local, clean, fresh food and at Backlund Acres we are working hard to fill this need. With the market share card, members get to enjoy the special farmer/neighbor relationship while allowing for more flexibility in their schedule.

If you find yourself wanting to do a CSA, but are concerned about summer vacation plans, or if you are someone who wants more flexibility in your weekly vegetable bag, this card is for you.

Here is how it works…

1.) Purchase a market card. Standard size $540 or Deluxe $675.

2.) In late April or early May you will be mailed a market card to be used for online vegetable and flower purchases. Your card will contain CSA member pricing! For example, if you purchased a standard share for $540, your market card will contain $590, or a deluxe for $675, your card will contain $750. This allows for you to get the special CSA member pricing.

3.) You can then use your market card once our vegetable season begins in late may or early June to order vegetables online for pick up at our farm or one of our many drop spots. ** drop spot pickups will incur a $2 delivery fee charged directly to the market card.

***$40 minimum purchase for drop spot deliveries.

Cards can be redeemed for any vegetable or flower purchases from the months of May through October. This will allow for more flexibility with vacations while allowing you to choose vegetables you love the most.

Notes:

We will keep a copy of your market card barcode on file both at the market and farm store in the case that card is lost or forgotten.

**Cards can be used only to purchase vegetables, microgreens or flowers. If you know you would like eggs each week, you will need to purchase a separate share for that. If you are wanting cheese or chicken, those too, will need to be purchased separately.

Communication will be sent via email weekly with updates of what will be available that week.

Although we make every effort to grow an abundance of popular items, we may be required to put limits on certain items to ensure all CSA members get their fair share:)
