2025 Organic Pasture Raised Chicken Deposit
In 2025 we are sourcing Organic chickens from some local farms who raise chickens on pasture among perennial agriculture systems. We are excited about partnering with these growers this year and hope to have similar systems set up on our farm in the future.
Chickens are a heritage breed and are raised among a perennial food forest. They have room to roam, foraging for insects, vegetation, seeds and berries. They are fed a local feed that has not been genetically modified comprised of corn, soy, vitamins and minerals raised by farmers who are certified organic. We enjoy supporting farmers who are limiting their use of chemicals. Please note that in 2024 the feed will contain soy.
Pay a deposit now to reserve your chickens, and receive an invoice upon pickup for remaining balance.
Whole chickens are $5.00 / lb and an average of 4 lbs
Cut Chickens are $5.50 / lb and an average of 4 lbs. *cut chickens are packaged as a half of a chicken cut up. Bone-in breast, thigh, drumstick and wing will come in a package.
